A run club for everyone
WE ARE CURRENTLY ON A BREAK POST QUEENSTOWN MARATHON BUT WILL BE BACK IN EARLY 2K25…..
Sometimes run clubs can be intimidating. We know, you think you need to be an elite or have hardcore running shoes or those speed dealers to show up. We can’t promise there won’t be hardcore running shoes or the occasional appearance of speed dealers, but we can promise you at The Jog Squad our mission is to create a community that is accessible to anyone and everyone who wants to show up and give it a go.
how it works
Whether you want some running buddies or you’re keen to smash some PBs we’ll be here from Tuesday 21st January until Tuesday 8th April 2k25. We will provide you with some alright banter and great vibes.
What to expect at any session? Every Tuesday we will have a different running route and run type planned. Our pacers will be running at various speeds to ensure we cover all fitness levels. Each week we run for time, rather than distance.
Our pacers run at 5-minute KM’s, 5:30 – minute KM’s, 6 – minute KM’s, 6:30 minute KM’s and our 5th pacer runs at whatever pace the last group wants to run or walk at.
Our goal is to complete the Christchurch Half Marathon on Sunday April 13th 2k25

CHCH Marathon Entry Fees =
Early Entry = Now > Jan 23/ Standard Entry = Jan 24 > Mar 13
Marathon = $135 , THEN AFTER JAN 24 $150
Half Marathon = $100 , THEN AFTER JAN 24 $115
10km = $65, THEN AFTER JAN 24 $75

Our 12-week training programme can be accessed for a one-off cost (one of the three tiered pricing options below) we will then send you out the training programme, you will get full access to our private Facebook group, our Tuesday night running group and (if applicable) discount codes to local businesses plus heaps more….

Meet Matt
Ah here we have him Stanmore Road’s very own ‘Community Watch’ MB aka Tim. Don’t let the 6ft 7 human fool you, he’s quick on those long legs & has even more speedy one liners.

Would have to be the C2C, this is the most unreal atmosphere and is a must-do for everyone’s bucket list.

Loving The Jog Squads playlist at present as it’s got some great tunes!

I am enjoying the red zone river loop lately with our dog Mika either taking me for a spin or me towing her home!
When you aren’t running what are you doing?
If I’m not down at HIIT you will likely see me on my bike somewhere or trying to walk our dog Nellie around the block, she’s an athlete!

What’s changed since last season?
A season of rugby had made for some big head knocks and some scars not to be missed

Everyone loves him and I’m not sure if we have ever seen him not smiling 😁
He’s made his mark in running and we are proud to see him crushing big distances in local event s

Building websites and currently planning a wedding

Been hitting up Subway a lot recently post run - eat fresh.

Laura doesn’t seem to say much but every second word that comes out of her mouth is ‘Alpacas’,

Biking/being an alpaca 🦙. Also do some lawyering 👩💼

If it’s a morning run, porridge before and a smoothie after. If it’s night run, banana before then dinner asap after!

Meet Annabelle
Big things come in small packages and it’s a true story when it comes to Bells.
She’s the size of a mini but has an engine the size of a monster truck.

Commercial retail leasing for Colliers or any type of outdoor mission
